Thanks all. It's been a fun project and what I like most about modeling is all the opportunities to learn in the process. The blade supports were all about alignment and accuracy of angles. Then the Liftra yoke was a matter of balancing the weight and strengthening the potentially weakest areas. I used no plans and no ACAD, just planning ahead, and then it was all about man and tool. I will post dio pictures eventually. The kitchen table is not such a great environment, other than for daylight, which my basement doesn't allow. nice brass hoses hydraulics look good //how big is the barge//where did u get the decals//like your trains to//o/scale is nice//g/scale kicks buttt//

Thanks BC. Answers here:
The barge is 3.5ft long by 14" wide. It's made from laminated wood.
Decals are 100% custom. When I cannot find the right angle for sampling it from a picture, I just design them in a photoshop-like software. I am using water slide paper and different application techniques depending on the paint color, and desired effect.
