I had much respect for Mr.McCollough talent and will remember from him as one of the best custom builders in HO scale.

I certainly will miss the making of his interesting projects.

All my thoughts to his wife and family.

Truly a huge loss to the modeling community and to our forum, always loved his work and like everyone here has said, a true gentleman. My condolences to his family. Thank you RI Craneman for all of the great custom work you shared that helped and inspired so many others to follow in your foot steps.

I do remember him putting together the base for the Manitowoc ringer, and have wanted to do the same with my Lampson 4100, thing is I'm not as crafted and or driven as the man who made it a reality.

What a bummer.

He'll truly be missed.

This hobby suffered a great loss but would surely pale in comparison to the loss for his family... my condolences.

That is so sad to hear about Tom, he was an expert modeller and was very kind for sharing his hobby with us. From the small custom vise to the massive 4100 ringer support stand he was talented and imaginative. I do hope that someone carries on his barge project.
