Impressive load. Did all those tires come off of a model or were they sourced through a model manufacturer?

Lovely scenes. That green truck is excellent. Don't scrap the old Demag 485 - that would be sad. Get her in the big shed and give her a good clean, sandblast and a coat of fresh paint!

Elle n'est pas détruite, juste démontée afin de pouvoir créer des scènes. LA DEMAG 485 est en attente depuis au moins 2016, Denis n'avait pas pris le temps de la présenter.

Thank you gentlemen for your interest in Lorramine.
The tires do not come from a manufacturer, it was my friend Michel who molded them in resin. Note that he made them while respecting the emptiness of the interior, this is no easy feat.

As for the Demag 485, the patina was designed with the aim of carrying out a reform. So it will be completely dismantled and loaded onto trucks to then reach a metal trader.

Many thanks for your interest to this topic.

On the way out of LorraMine premises, the tires transport combination passes along another Mack unit:

The Doolan's Kenworth K200 just broke-down, as a convoy hauling the Liebherr mining dumper was going to start:

It is towed away to LorraMine workshop, with a Mack Superliner taking the lead instead:

All of your stuff is so good. Love me that generator trailer. Too bad no one makes a kit of that...

Rivera2171,

Many thanks for your support, but sorry: the mobile generator was home-built by Simon (former member of the "LorraMine Team"); it is therefore not available for sale.

A few other pictures of the move:

I was just thinking, the amount of money that is sitting in this diorama is mind-blowing.

To all,

Many thanks for your support.

Doolan's seems to be a regular visitor of LorraMine these days (let's call that the "magic of modelling"):

Some mining parts packed in a shipping container are being delivered to the French mine:

Denis just received from Australia 2 ballast boxes sent by W. Doolan - Owner of Doolan's Heavy Haulage - to replace the "Hogans" ones in place so far and to match his trucks livery. The "Australian" convoy hauling the T284 mining dumper:
