Think Think Is that model 1/50th scale, the spec sheet say's it's 1.75 inchs wide, that equates to 87.5 inchs
that's only seven foot three inchs, and I'm pretty sure that truck will be eight feet wide, which works out at 1.92 inchs, kinda looks like it's been calulated at 1/55th scale, hope I'm wrong as I have one on order,I e-mailled Bruce Hay over two months ago but as yet have heard nothing back from him, here's the spec sheet if you want to chech my arithmetic

It's even more obvious in metric, two point five meters wide divide by fifty is twenty five mm,and the spec sheet says forty four d'oh! d'oh!
Regards
Joe.

[b]O oh! Interesting observation ..As soon as I read your post and went and grab a KW W900L from Norscot to check the numbers and The W900L Measures 2 inches and 1/16 wide by 6 inches and 3/4 long in metric will be 5.2cm by 18 cm.
Gary since you are an important part of this proyect ..can you tell us that is only a bad typo on the specs.

I missed this one earlier. What a fine looking prototype.

I too hope it is a typo on the dimensions. It would be a shame for it to be too small.

I looked on DHS and do not see this listed. I was going to get my pre-order in.

ElGrinch,

Yes, this is a bad typo which appears on one of the early pdf's.

The model is 50.8mm across which equates to 2" or 96" across in 1:1.

I have seen the resin cast model on numerous occasions and it is much larger than the
Corgi produced Kenworth and is better all round with levels of detail.

There is a new pdf which will be released shortly indicating colours and liveries being made available .

Please be aware that there is only 1000 Prime Movers and 2000 sets [Kenworth, Dolly and Swing Wing Trailer] being produced in this run.

Regards,

Gary Smile Smile Eh?

No worries,I got an e-mail from Bruce Hay ( Mr Drake trailers ),and like Gary says,it was a typo on the early pdf's, so here's a photo of the tooling model which sits on Gary's desk,

Regards
Joe.
