2 Mack DM800 trucks delivering a LeTourneau L850 loader to LorraMine (you may wonder why 2 famous American companies are involved in a French heavy haul: let's call that the "magic of modeling around Christmas"):

Brilliant! That trailer looks incredibly realistic - nice dull paint, oil stains, wooden planks, chains!

Thanks, Jamiescotland!

While the LeTourneau loader delivery is on-going, another Mack DM800 is bringing Sleipner transport equipment to the mine site:

In the meantime, another Mack RD800 is involved in the delivery of shipping boxes packed with stone crusher parts:

Everything about this “mine site” is awesome!
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Are you an enviromentist, or do you work for a living?

JTL,

Many thanks for your support.

The Mack driver is asking a LorraMine employee about a safe parking place, while unloading operations are on-going:

Quite a lot of American trucks (up to nine, as far as I can see!) in the French mine for the Christmas break:

Merry Christmas.

Back to operations after the Christmas break.
2 ballasted Macks are driving a cone crusher head up to the LorraMine crushing plant for overhaul:

While one Mack is driving the trailer back to the entrance, the second one has gone to LorraMine maintenance workshop for some servicing:

For the way back, the combination will carry the Demag 485 bucket (the mining excavator being scrapped by LorraMine):

Sad to seen the last days of such a mining giant, isn't?

At least, some metal will be re-melted and used for future machines.

Lovely scenes. That green truck is excellent. Don't scrap the old Demag 485 - that would be sad. Get her in the big shed and give her a good clean, sandblast and a coat of fresh paint!

Those look so cool. I really like the weathering of the treads on the Mack.

Many thanks to you three for your support.

In the meantime, delivery to LorraMine of new dumper tires:
