It's just impressive to me. These big machines will just continue to grow. I thought a hitachi 1800 was big when I saw one! haha

I was told by O&K at Mine Expo that one of the reasons they did not offer a Back hoe on the RH400 was that they(O&K) were not confident of any bench holding the weight of a 400 that close to the edge.

looks like a nice machine hope its better than the 994s we have they are horrible very slow and have a big delay in the stick a machine as big as the rh400 sitting on a bench would keep thr operater on their toes its bad enough with a 340

I just noticed the plain track pads, will they remain on the machine or are they just used on the machine in and around the factory, to be replaced with grouser pads when the machine arrives on site? Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

I would doubt the pads will be changed. Large machines tend to have almost smooth pads, look at the current 996 pads. Least on the 9800 are just a development of those.

Thanks for the repost Tim,
I have to head back to Va for a week to run a 330, doing who knows what (fortunately it's only a week), so hopefully I don't miss too much here, LOL.
