The 13000 is currently being loaded out at the port of indiana,burns harbor. Should be on its way in another week. Headed to holland to have winches updated, then to france for a nuke job.

bummer i never made it out there to see it, oh well..... we have a rail yard in Burns Harbor, not that ill make it there either now that im back to work.... i got to see it vicariously through DHS so i guess thats good enough

Winch planetary housing problem/bolts too wimpy. They had some break.

Still pretty cool looking at the pics of this rig and think of all the work we did moving in and out of BP in Whiting, IN. I will have to go through my pics and see if I can find the one of me hauling the sheave packs.

YCC or Tonkin should propose a "base model" in that "Strong" configuration and propose some optionnal booms sets in original Liebherr colors. That would lower the selling price and allow for easy customisation for the serious collectors who really want a specific livery. Painting booms is much easier that doing paint and decal jobs on carbodies. Stephane
