That is a great piece of model engineering. I was lucky enough to see the Hochtief TBM at work in Scotland on a Hydro Scheme but I never saw the TBM from these perspectives. Great work. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jack5561/

All, I saw that Manfred had updated his thread on Hansebube so thought I'd share it here. Translation by Google: "Hi Long time since the last update, but once again some current pictures which I have made at our club exhibition two weeks ago today. The next trailer is now also grown and the next (then for the next module) are already under construction (in front of the TBM - see model on the table) I'm the final model length of 9 meters slowly but surely closer, emphasis on slowly ...... Gruss Manfred

Hello Paul Thank you very much that you have made the "work" for me to post the pics of my "life - Project" here at the DHS - Forum. So you where a little bit faster than me.... To recieve the totally lenght of 9 meters I will make 6 modules with 1.50 meters, so I can load the modules in to my car for model - exhibitions etc. Best regards from switzerland ( the country of the tunnels..... ) Manfred tunneling forever

Awesome project. That structure almost looks like a spaceship What's most impressive is to have such details inside and out. That wonder deserves exhibition in civil works expos. But that you must have done already. Stephane

Hello all In the last weeks and months I have worked very "hard" on my 2 TBM - models from the Gotthard - bastunnel, so they are now finished until the backub - System number 2b and I will show you some pics of them. Actually I am working on the next backup - systems and I hope I will finish the model ( 9 meters Long... ) in a couple of years. Best regards Manfred tunneling forever
