The top end of the Renault Trucks range is now made of T, C and K Series, "T" being designed for long distance transport (top pictures), while "C" is built for light construction duties (middle) and "K" for heavy duties (bottom): https://www.renault-trucks.fr/k-380-520







Except for the "small" 2.3 metres wide "C" unit, all can be fitted with engines up to 520hp. The "T" high cab truck is now replacing the legendary Magnum truck, which "revolutionized" European haulage in the 90s, with its square cab and flat floor. That new range proved to be quite successful in France (see 2018 statistics below) and Europe and the "K"range is selling well overseas as well, where its capacity to handle severe conditions is appreciated. As it can be seen below, Renault Trucks was the top seller in France last year:

I agree with you, the Diamond and its trailer are both very nicely made.
I have Matchbox-Dinky Peterbilt and Mack models as well, but their trailers are still being modified (as for quite a lot of my models). The Peterbilt 344 DT should tow a 33' Trailmobile reefer, made from a Corgi Classics unit, while the Mack B61 will end in front of a Fruehauf 40' belly dump unit (from Corgi Toys origin):

I wouldn't say that the Corgi Toys belly dump is a wonderful model:



It came with a Berliet 4x2 tractor which I have used for a more plausible service and its main advantage was the 1/50 scale. The dump body top part is all plastic, it had funny British mudguards on small Corgi wheels and a widely oversized Corgi landing leg system plus a large knob on the side, used to maneuver bottom gates. I removed all of these and plan to built the proper rear tandem protection with the pushing frame at rear and hide the screw now replacing the large knob with a removable cover:

The 3 late 50s American cabriolets, with from left to right: a Pontiac Bonneville 1958 4x2/2, a Chrysler 300E 4x2/2 and a Cadillac Eldorado 1955 4x2/2.

Note (*): precise measurements of each model car reveal that these 3 models are respectively produced in a 1/48, 1/49 and 1/50 scale.

The Dickie "American Dream" series was made of a dozen of mythical American cabriolets: I ignore what could be the scale of the other models, which can still be found for sale at a low price on specialized websites, generally defined as being in a 1/43 scale.

Craig sent me a few pictures of the bottom dump he is referring to:





It is produced by Lionel Trains in O scale (equal to 1/48 scale in the States) and I agree, it fits nicely the Matchbox-Dinky Mack B61.
Never seen that type of trailer before and I'm a little puzzled, in particular with the useless rear doors and the single bottom door. As I am not an American trailers specialist, feel free to tell us more about that trailer and to indicate which manufacturer may have produced the 1/1 scale real unit?
