I might have to adjust the master for them to fit the 954 though. the spacing on the 365 is 8 mm and I think you said the spacing onthe 954 is 10mm. I guess you could file alittle off of the stick to make it work though? Jason

Jason Well, ear width 10 mm would be best, if this will be to hard to do because of the masters, I'll just replace them with Himobo quick couplers. Anyway, I'll be gettin' those buckets!

I was thinking about once he has the molds made for these buckets, I will get them back and change the width of the ears to fit the 954. This would just be the easiest thing to do, but will take longer to get the buckets made for the 954.  I am still coming up with more bucket ideas, I am thinking about making a clam shell bucket and a pavement removal bucket. Anymore ideas let me know JAson

As for other buckets, a pavement removal bucket (slapbucket is it called in the US I think) that would be great. There are many other buckets as well. Filtering buckets for example. Just browse through the usual attachment OEM's websites, this will give you more than enough ideas. A few I'd really like are these: TreviBenne BVR series & TreviBenne BM series

I've received Gaz's Long Reach and straight boom tofay. They look great! First impression was that they are very heavy!! The 954's straight boom weighs in at about 260 grams (compared to just 93 grams for the original Conrad boom) while the Long Reach boom weighs in at a staggering 597 grams (213 grams stick & 384 grams boom). Here are some photo's of the straight boom on the R 954 C. I'll hopefully be able to paint it this weekend. Comparison with the original boom:     And a couple of close-ups of the tracks for R. Jordan.

I received my second and third straight boom from Gaz last week, plus two other items, Eric'Gaz's MSD 2500 Labounty shears. Man these babies are nice! The bigger ones (MSD 9500) are very heavy, but these are just the right size. I'm definately looking forward to getting the other sizes as well! I equipped the 954C with the straight boom and original stick. The MSD 2500 is fitted as a 3rd member. Good setup, but I do regret that the boom is actually for the Hitachi, with just the distinctive Liebherr cilinder coverings added. Hopefully Gaz will make a true straight Liebherr boom sometime in the future, as that would be nicer.

I rebuilt a normal Liebherr R 954 C again with a normal boom. Cab is from one of the Norscot models with a cabguard from a 984C. The machine is somewhat modeled after a German example, but with the typical Dutch wide plates (900 mm). In the future I will add some decals of a Dutch company to the model. First up, with a material handling stick loading the new Liebherr TA 230 ADT. Make for a nice set up!    And an excavator needs a couple of buckets. So here's my 'extreme' bucket trailer.   To have the model resemble the 954 C from Van Hemert a bit more (example can be found HERE scroll down a bit), I brushed of the paint of the underparts of the tracks. I have to rework them with a brush of paint though.  This bucket is also on my wishlist. (photo from one of the German forums):  I think I have been infested with the 'home-made' virus by Jason and Jan, because I just made my first real custom bucket. Well, made, I used two buckets tow make one better one.

Gaz's new straight boom and long stick on my R 954C demolition machine. Fitted with the large sorting grab from CMM Schwerlast. The normal stick can also be fitted to this boom.     Now I just have to get some good primer so I can paint this boom.
