The Ferrari FXX is an all out beast...

This speaks words...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLBX5VpFBWI

...

Imagine taking one... and making it street legal,,,

No, it's not a body kit, this is one of 'a couple now' street legal FFX cars.

The idea of this on the street gives me goose bumps.

The company... EDO do conversions but this is a race to street backwards car!

i thought you bought it off Ferrari and they kept it for track days and such, and when you had finished they took it back

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Exactly, they were only offered to regular customers on the condition that they were stored by Ferrari, choose a driver and your car is raced in a series! Apparently there were a few deranged orders and a few got out :D

I feel that may be a kit car, definitely doesn't have the regular 'flat nose'. of the old Porsche cars.

When I say kit, I mean a molded model.

Would have to be the Dauer 962LM SP

Lets take possibly the fastest car around Le Mans and put it in a street jacket!

Dauer are still building street legal 962 cars based / crashed 956 / 962 race cars. Every car comes stamped with a chassis number. Withevery order they need a donor race car, it is ridiculous. Faster than a Bugatti Veyron.... and most of them are on 20+ years old chassis!

I´d have an Ariel Atom V8 or a Caterham Seven CSR 260 for the summer and Subaru Impreza WRX STi for the winter.

Several years ago, Gemballa (a Porsche car customizer) re-shaped the bodywork on the 911, and called it the Avalanche, which looked somewhat similar to your photo, qbarnewell.

With every McLaren F1 sold, you had a personal seat fitting and the car was fitted with e 56kb/s modem to send data back to McLaren headquarters. It was also the first car the make use of the heat reflecive properties of gold and line much of the engine bay. Put simply, the car was 10 years ahead of it's time.
