The last time I posted photos of an upcoming BYMO model (the RTG), the entire thread was deleted a few hours afterward at the command of BYMO. Let's see if it happens again now? Photos are credited to luau (the only identification I could find) on the site I found the photos. I conclude that this is an interim model produced later than those presented at bauma, but not yet a representation of the production piece (lack of boom decals). Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!

It's 1/50 scale.
I would agree that this is a ways from being a production model yet. Besides the lack of boom decals, the general lack of decals and the lack of the proper decals beneath the cab are a couple more hints. As well, little details that would make the model stand out, like pin caps on the ends of the cylinder pins and so on sort of tell a story that it is a design model. After the incredible job they did on the RH340 model, with so much small detail, this model still seems quite bland. I'm sure that will change as time goes by, and I look forward to seeing more pictures. Any idea when it is due to be released?....bearing in mind nothing ever seems to come out on time these days.
Thanks for sharing those Shovelman.

I missed out on the RH340 by I guess a week. Went to order both the shovel and the excavator and were gone off the site so I am going to buy this as soon as it comes out for release.
Live it up!

I wondered where that thread went. This looks even better than the first prototype. Great photo find! Chris

Even if this isn't the production version yet, this is still much nicer looking than the Demag H485 model. I look forward to having this one on my shelf!

I start to wonder about the Michigan 475B loader that has been on their(By-Mo) page for a while now..... Max.
Cat 245.....Now and Forever I am looking for industrial auction brochures from Ritchie Bros, Miller & Miller, Forke Bros, First Team Auction, Max Rouse, etc from the 70's, 80's and 90's.I am a collector and heavy equipment enthusiast and these pamphlets are loaded with nice pictures of cleaned and freshly painted equipment.Thet don't have much value once the sale is over but they are a great help to me in preserving the memory of machines that are no longer being built. Please, help my hobby by looking in your old storage boxes and file folders for these old auction sale brochures.Your help is much appreciated.

Except for the missing decals I can´t make out a single difference to the model which was shown at Bauma. And I think in ways of detailing they´re already pretty close to the real machine. Take a look at this: http://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=15021The PC8000 just doesn´t have as many small details as the RH340. It needs some proper decals, some nice looking hydraulic lines, hydraulic cylinders that don´t look like plastic, and after that it should be good to go. I´ve seen the model again in Switzerland about two month ago. They had the estimated price written on a little piece of paper. I think it was around 400€. IMO this is quite exprensive, especially when comparing the price of the RH340 with it, which is around 250€.

Hello guys The pics of the PC 8000 are made by myself in the sandbox of my childrens. This is the same prototype - model like the one at BAUMA 2010. The colour is yet not the right and some details will be changed until the end of 2010 when the model will be avaiable. I am the swiss dealing partner of Anton Hanrieder ( Spiel- und Modellkist`l switzerland ) and Anton give me the model in june 2010 for the modelexhibition in Thal ( Switzerland) and the model is now still at my home. I hope now that all facts are clear Best regards Manfred tunneling forever

I also would class the model as expensive, which is a shame I don't expect it for nothing but I won't be paying 400 Euros. My KPC 996 cost a little more and has way more detail which made parting with my money easier.

Can't wait to get my hands on one. Hopefeully the detail will be equal or greater than that of the RH340. I would love to see a WA1200-3 too or even the new WA1200-6 with accurate detail.

Will you be able to remove the arms to pose with cranes as if it's getting erected? I would love to get a large shovel to use as loads for the Drake trailer models when they beco e avalaliable

Looks as though we are getting closer to the release of this model with it being posted here on DHS for sale. Below are photos of the real machine, a Komatsu PC8000-6 that I recently photographed at a coppr mine in Chile. The model looks to be a good representation of the real machine and the only thing I can fault at the moment is the "Super Shovel" decals missing from either side. Enjoy! Mitchtim

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.
