I've just been going through my pictures and just thought I'd share a few, Brand new LTM1090 4.1 LTM1055 5.2 GMK3050 - this was my crane for a few years! LTM1070 4.1 lined up in the yard....no thats not me and yes he is wearing pink!!!! lol Little wee Grove LTM1250 6.1 Demag AC700 - This machine has parted company with Ainscough now LTM1300/1 - the last 300 liebherr with the company, all AC350/6's now. LTM1400 7.1 - another past machine, was sold on a while back. LTM1100 5.2 next to the much smaller LTM1500 8.1!!!! 2x LTM1500's together in our yard is a bit unusual so had to snap a pic. Yes the eagle eyed among you will notice the 80 in the background is missing some of its boom!! Anyway, enjoy......i'll post some more soon. Gaz

Excellent pics Gaz. What's the story on the AC700 and LTM 1400 ? Are they being replaced ? Do I remember you mention an AC 1000 at one time ? TFS

Gaz is that the old GWS/Scott Greenham yard at Beckton? I used to work there for a short while in the late 80's when it was GWS, I was operations manager there before I took over the Old Shepherds Bush depot. the Power Station and set for Full Metal Jacket was still there then, complete with tanks and palm trees!!

TTFN If you email Ainscough they send out some amazing pictures for desktops etc, - info@ainscough.co.ukI've not got many good pics of the LTM1300, and as we've pretty well much replaced them with Demag AC350/6's now i doubt i will . Gaz

Good call If I had chance I'd go out chasing them, or go to see whats around at the manchester depot as it's 10 mins from my mum n dads house. All I get is a Hewden Stuart depot literally across the road from my house

Great shots Gaz, lots of pride in that fleet there... almost spotless! Especially considering yellow isn't an easy color to keep clean. Interesting shots of the inner boom too, thanks! Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

First time for me seeing inside a boom like that. Thanks for sharing though I am none the wiser for how it all actually works.

Paul R It is quite simple really mate when you look inside the boom, it is very difficult to put into words though! I've been going through my archive of pictures and found some of me rigging the CC2800 earlier in the year at the olympic site, i'll always remember the job cos I got a go in the big girl . here's me right in the thick of things... Put a MAN TGX next to it and you d=get a better impression of the size of the CC2800. Lifting bridge beams. Hopefully I will get another go putting this thing together soon. It is rigged up at Farringdon Station in central London at the moment working on the new station for the crossrail project, will be there for 6 months or so. Gaz
