Haha that's good, I figured an MSG LTM 1500 was only a matter of time, I wanted that livery too when the 1500 was announced

In Southwestern Germany, the company of MSG is the largest crane rental business. Active in all fields of lifting, MSG offers cranes up to 500 ton capacity, operating out of 3 depots. The Liebherr LTM1500 is the biggest crane in the fleet.

One thing I like about having an MSG 1500 is that the ballast truck and trailer are already there. It runs permanently with 2 x 6 axle ballast trailers:

Trailer 1 has the ballast frame and 3 large plates plus a little of the small stuff.

Trailer 2 has the ballast base plate, the small plate, 2 large plates and the 4 mats.

They do not have fixed trucks in front of the trailers so the MAN TGX XXL 8x4 can be used as well as the 6x4 XXL or XLX's. It would take much to convert the existing TGX XXL to a 6x4 variant Wink

This is usually enough for the majority of work but if the TY, more ballast or boom is needed then other truck and trailers are pulled in from the fleet as needed.

Awesome to see that the first Non-Mammoet customer livery announced! Absolutely no surprise at all that MSG is the chosen one. I will finally get to see a completed 1:50 model of MSG's 1500.

ROXU has been mentioned for sure but I've not seen a official WSI announcement on this so time will tell.

I was hoping for a 1350 but a 1500 would be even better!

The 1500 comes with proper boom cylinders, and all of the counterweight pieces.

I had thought that I would hold out for a Thoemen livery, but I think I'm going to "need" a Michielsen's, too. Nicely done, WSI. Next best thing to a Stevenson version.

One of the stars of this year´s truckfestival in Interlaken is the new flagship of Martin Wittwer Transporte: a Scania R 730 8x4, with bolt-on axle, fully built up in Sweden, pulling a 2+4 pendel-x lowloader. A model that will surely find fans among the fans of swiss trucks, Scanias and heavy haulage.

More info on Wipfli:

Quote:
The company Wipfli is Switzerlands specialist for cable car reel transport. In convoys of 2 trucks, cable reels of up to 60 tons are transported in steep alpine regions. The TGX 10x4 is mainly assigned to this task, therefore the Scheuerle module trailer in config: gooseneck - short vesselbed - 2 axle - 2 axle coupled to it reflects that specific transport task.
