The luffer bridle for my LTM 1500 came pre reeved. I'm betting we'll see the LTM 1500 at the Nuremberg toy show at the latest.

With the Mammoet LTM 1350 and 11200 capable of reaching stratospheric heights with their extension kits, one would hope the LTM 1500 wouldn't be left out. :D

Not sure I'd want a re-release of what was done. Who else uses that combination to transport the boom?

ROXU seem to use two modes of transport for their boom. One is quite unique:

Boom Transporter 1

But the other is doable and what a set that would make together with a 8x6 MB Smile

Boom Transporter 2

And then there are some companies that use the Goldhofer trailer:

Goldhofer

This is the one I would liked to have seen made as it would work with Grohmann, H N Krane, Senn AG and Sarens I think.

Paul R.

Except for the axle configuration of both the tractor and the trailer isn't the boom transporter produced for Mammoet similar to the one utilized by ROXU?

Randy,
At first glance yes, but when you start looking closer it is quite different. There is a guy I know who built this special trailer and it was quite a project! It has a drawbar and bogey. Other axles do not turn.

As for the Goldhofer I referred to, I have received some corrected information. It was built for Eisele, Grohmann and Bracht. Sarens have used it since they bought the Grohammn 11200. Senn AG do not use it as I had thought.

Thanks,

Paul R

Last I heard was that it was supposed to be available very soon, as in very early 2014, but that was about it.
