It appears that my earlier remarks may have stirred some Terex versus Liebherr controversey.

First Liebherr and Grove are much better represented in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US than Terex's "Demag" series machines. Likewise, the weight laws are such that we are already pulling main booms and hence have the jib's separated to move the machines. Hence may of the stated transport advantages of the Terex AC350/6 disappear in this region.

Not wanting to HIJACK this post, but here's a little info for those of you following this crane and the work at WTC. I heard from my office today that, we are getting this rig for the next two weeks, at the WTC site. We will be rigging and installing, "THE ARTIFACTS from 9/11" for the 9/11 Memorial at the site. I normally never post pics, as I'm always busy running my crew, but I imagine quite a few pics will be seen over the next "2" weeks. Look for some interesting pieces to be lowered into the Memorial. If you want to see what I'm talking about, GOOGLE Hangar17 at JFK airport.. Talk to ya's soon..Shhh Shhh Wink

I did think that but daren't say anything because I'm not a crane operator! Does look a little strange though.

Me neither. Time will tell if Bay Crane is a livery done by WSI. Perhaps good 'ol Chuck will commission it for the Preferred Members Teeth

I'd rather it be available to anyone who wanted one, I'd love to have one, that is if one in Bay livery is commissioned.

Or the regular members - I'll take one too!

Paul, you seem to have some sort of connection to WSI, can you arrange this?!!

Trust me, I have had this conversation already! But there are so many to choose from that it must be difficult deciding which ones to do. But I have to say that as far as US liveries go, this has to be one of the best and would be appreciated by US customers I am sure.
