Went to see the crane set up later that night but it wasn't in the best position and was blocked in by vans and trucks carrying bridge sections.

Here are the ballast wagons though :

Caught Ainscough's LTM 1750-9.1 lifting bridge beams brought in by ALE Heavylift. The beams themselves are 36m long and weigh 80 ton.

Why has the 1750 got more weight on the left side than the right?

They are equal both sides mate, it's just the other "half" block is on the front right hand stack if you understand me?

Nice looking crane that actually! I much prefer the large telescopics than the smaller stuff! Just wish they'd make models with an idiots guide to reeling them lol

Caught Baldwins rigged up with full 91m of luffer on their LTM 1500-8.1 in Birmingham City Centre.

A couple of quick pictures from this weekend. Caught one of Baldwins LTM 1350-6.1's derigging after driving passed her rigged up all week in my town.

And also managed to catch this GMK 6300 L from Bronzeshields. This is an awesome looking crane, would love to see a GMK 6400 over here in the UK. ( or even better.... operate one Cool

)

Unexpectedly caught one of Ainscoughs LTM 1500-8.1's unloading some pretty long bridge beams in the compound for the Nottingham A453 works the other night.

Had a decent weekend crane wise. Yesterday I Finally got to see an LG 1550 which has been on my "to photograph list" for a long time. This is the LG that you might have seen in a precarious position after one of its riggers punched through the roadway in Mexico. As you can see its been fully refurbished and repainted and now back in work on its first job on a wind farm.

Today I caught Baldwins LTM 1800 on luffer lifting Air Handling Units onto office block roofs.

The LG is in Crick Sam near the DIRFT. Can't miss it mate. Schot s LTM 1750 is down the road too.
