Nice job! I'm guessing it's going to be a Sarens repaint... I'm not really a crane or haulage guy so....

This is looking really good Steve.

Re. the glazing for the cab, it would probably be quicker (and easier) just to scratch build something from clear styrene sheet.

Failing that you can always have the glazing from my 1750 as I'd be happy to make a styrene one for myself lol.

Well all done now, not sure what I am going to do with my time now Think So as promised a few photos of the finished model, at the moment it is on a short main boom as I just need to check every thing is ok and secure, don't want to over load it on it's first showing, hope to set up with more boom and luffer tomorrow. Less of the chat here are the photos.

Hope you enjoy, will fully rig it up tomorrow with more boom and luffer and if I get time full boom and windmill tip.

Steve.

Looks excellent Steve, also with the YCC pendants.
Great job Smiley

I would turn the ballast on the wagon though, so that the yellow/black triangles are on the outside on both sides.

Yes, absolutely superb Steve. Applause

I like the details like the etched boards in two colors.

Very good looking crane. An excellent addition to your collection.

Thanks Guys, took a while, but am very pleased with the end results, slightly disappointed with the ballast weights should have spent a bit more time on them and possible used a better masking tape, but it's all a learning curve.

Victor, know what you are saying, but due to the recess points on the ballast carrier, the weights can only go on one way.

Must be a typical Conrad thing then, the real thing has better recess points Smiley

Well guys it's been a while I did say I would show the crane with luffer, but the weather has just been totally against me, any way the Gods must have been smiling at me today calm and sunny not bad for November here in the UK so here are some photos of the LR1750 with luffer.

Hope you enjoy, may put straight boom on and windmill tip if I get chance
