This is very interesting that Liebherr is introducing a elevated finial drive dozer. Plus Liebherr and John Deere have a large dozer and track loader agreement so it is very possible to see the PR776 re-branded as a John Deere here in the US in the future. Not to add that John Deere dozers are starting to become very popular at least around here, so Cat might have to up their game to give them an edge over Liebherr. Still very interesting to say the least, and we will have to wait to see what comes about this in the future.

That dozer is all deere.

The photo of the Liebherr PR776 was taken while it sat on the wharf at Port Kemba, Australia. Machine testing is to take place at Bloomfield Group's Rix's Creek coal mine.

Thanks for the clarification! The photo had been identified elsewhere as being at the port in Bremen, Germany. Do you have any further insight on the unit? Specifically; is it really diesel-electric drive??? PM me if necessary?

That dozer is all deere. [/quote Deere did in fact drop liebherr for track loaders and large dozers, however compact loaders are still being produced for deere by leibherr. Deere also dropped bell trucks.

Does anyone know why the 776 is listed as Tier 2/ Stage II when new machines must be Tier 4/ Stage IV to work in the US/Europe?
