LATEST ADDITION! Caterpillar D250D WTR [OBC 1:50]I received from America this latest addition in my collection and directly took it to the photo set: Caterpillar D250D WatertankerUnder the name Otter Bro Customs (OBC) appear regularly exclusive custom built models that allows you to add another unique replica Caterpillar model to your collection. I'm very lucky that I can add another small (I mean the scale!) masterpiece to my Caterpillar collection. This unique one of a kind scale model is made by using a Caterpillar D250E Articulated Dump Truck and a rare resin Water Tanker Kit from OHS and is completely custom made by OBC in scale 1:50. So the Liebherr Shop IS a competitor, especially when they have the ability to get models before the collector community does. That is their option they are footing the bill - but the model dealers don't have to like it. We also get unhappy when an OEM slashes prices to move model stock and we are sitting with inventory - which happens too often...
So I am sticking by my original comments, I would prefer not to see competitive links to purchase items that we carry posted on our forum. I like to believe we run a good shop with fair pricing and, if someone who uses the forum wants to purchase something, they can get it from us. Also; how does this classified with links to other dealers not get deleted??

UPDATE! The making of...a Caterpillar D10T with Push BladeCustom scale model builder Gertjan Veld has recently started his next project of building a Caterpillar D10T Track-Type Tractor with Push Blade by using the Caterpillar D10T Track-Type Tractor from Norscot in 1:50th scale. Today I added a new update of this "The making of... a Caterpillar D10T Track-Type Tractor with Push Blade". This episode shows you how Gertjan Veld takes the original scale model from Norscot and both kits in hand and makes some major adjustments at some points and improves to end up as accurate as possible. You will be amazed with the high standards he sets! It is our goal for the coming period in the "Making of...a Caterpillar D10T Track-Type Tractor with Push Blade" to show you how this custom model will be achieved. Obviously, from this project a "Making of" will be started, but for now we are curious if you guys have any idea what Caterpillar machine this will be? NEWS FLASH! Truck in the Koel 2014On 29, 30 and August 31, 2014, the third "Truck in the Koel" event was held at the Waubacherweg 20 in Brunssum, The Netherlands. Truck in the Koel is a unique event on historical Earthmoving Machinery, Trucks, Tractors and Trailers. The vintage Cars and Classic Equipment could not only been admired from close range but where actually in action through out the show! Huub van Dijk of "Bouwmachinesvantoen" was also among the many visitors and made the following photo report: Truck in the Koel 2014

Steinexpo 2014From 3 to 6 September 2014 in the Basaltsteinbruch Mitteldeutsche Hartstein-Industrie AG at Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden in Germany the 9th STEINEXPO took place and amazing his visitors at its impressive, tried and tested location – Europe’s largest basalt quarry! The Steinexpo is taken place every three years, representatives of the national and international building materials industry meet here for a unique demo show: Leading manufacturers of construction machinery, suppliers of treatment and preparation technology, suppliers of add-on equipment and service providers present the industry's plants, innovations and solutions successfully and in practical application. Caterpillar was present and demonstrated their brand-new and recently introduced Caterpillar 374 "F" series Hydraulic Excavator. At the same time came the Caterpillar 772G Off-Highway Truck and matching Caterpillar 988K Wheel Loader in action. This gave us the idea to see if there might be need to bring a complete set, consisting of spray heads and a spray gun, based on the brand MEGA, the specialist from America for over 30 years and market leader in the field of Watertankers built on the chassis of existing OEM construction machines. MEGA Watertanker SetThe MEGA Watertanker Set will as yet consist of four spray heads and a spray gun and casted from white metal material.
