I went today to the site with my grandpa, and since he knew one of the guys there we got the view of a life time. apx. 500 feet in the air, the site looks tiny. While talking with the head teamster of the site, this weekend the large 100 foot long 230,000 pound beam will be tandem lifted this weekend, pics to follow probably

I still get a kick out of the Subway shop! Great shots and great views! I like the "looking down on the 16000" one.

Cat 966f,

Any idea who the Liebherr track loader belongs to? I do not recognize the decal. Liebherr earthmoving equipment is very rare in the New York area.

Looks like they found a ship, this is the part where our friend mike is operating a 385 for EECruz, its across from the transit hub

Fantastic pics, very interesting thanks for sharing.

Who is the main building contractor on this project? Is it divided up into seperate contracts with a number of main contractors doing different sections or just one? Also, any idea of the projected programme to complete the work (number of years)? Thanks.

Noel.

Thanks!

There are so many contractors, you can't even tell how many.

They say the job is going to be done in 2012 but they always change it to a later date so, I say 2015 and it will be completely finished..

Video I took a few months back of the iron workers working with the 18000
