been wanting to do this to my ac1000 ever since i got it. dont know why conrad doesnt do this to begin with. but anyways, im wanting to make the 1000 as realistic as possible, ive only painted the main, heavy lift sections so far, the upper sections will be a little different as the stripe widths will be smaller. i also drilled a hole in each section so that i could position each section at 50% extension if i wanted. also thinking of adding hydro lines to it but we will see. now i just need a luffer, conrad Whistle , maybe at toy fair....

being taped off

before touch-ups and clear coat

all at 50%

almost 52 inches

100% extended
