I got one a couple weeks ago too. I was waiting on some instructions for it but maybe I can just look at the photos here and elsewhere online and figure it out. The BC40 had similar problems with the material for the hoses and stuff hanging stiffly but I guess over time it will relax. I think it's a fabulous looking model and I try to buy whatever foundation machinery I can. Thanks for posting your photos.

When I purchase the original slit wall cutter, I replaced the stiff hose with peep sight tubing that you use on a compound bow. It's just a hair bigger but very flexible. Looked awesome and worked perfect. You can get it at Bass Pro. If you can't find it LMK and I'll show a pic of what it is.
Also works well for the sewer suction models.

I received mine two days ago, and it did come with a six page instruction booklet. Actually it looks like someone copied some pages and stapled them together. But it is a set of instructions. I can Email them to someone if they like.
I liked your unboxing video and you got some good photos here, you did a nice job on it. I also like the idea that you can use it as a regular crane or as a trencher.
I will have to look into that peep sight tubing when I assemble mine.

Where did you get the clamp?

Thanks Yeah I don't plan on leaving the weights on all the time, just did it for pics. Can adjust the pendant cylinders though to let the tray sit on the ground if you want it always shown with full stones

been a little while since my last update, but i got a new model and a kit today for christmas. hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays! first up, the ltm1500 luffing jib IMO, its overpriced as most of it is plastic, all the 20ft and 40ft sections and the longer jib tip. all plastic, rest are all metal. once the jib is connected, makes for a very long kit! about the same length as the 11200 jib with the extension kit added. i don't mind the plastic sections as it reduces a lot of the weight, but it isn't worth the 400+ bucks. the instructions don't mention anything about the adjustable fixed jib or rope guide for it, and there were a few pieces i had to file down paint to get parts to fit together, which is minor. but you get everything you need in the kit, jib dolly, Y-guy spreader, adjustable fixed jib adapter, heavy and light jib tips, full jib inserts (i believe), and the boom extension. so there are a lot of different configurations that can be setup with this kit! i will get better photos outside whenever the weather turns nice out... and as for the new model, well... this model is incredible! just speechless!

Tasty set up Brandon,i'm with you on the plastic jib sections,I dont mind seeing plastic used in models,if there are benefits over diecasting, like weight saving,or higher detailing per $,also it may allow for slight deforming of miss aligning parts in some cases, but the price does seem a little much,

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Thanks for the photos Brandon. I knew you would be disappointed by the 1400. It is just exquisite!
The 1500 job does seem might expensive though also seem to be reasonably well made and thought out.
I'd like to get one one day but I'll wait and see what or if any liveried versions are made.

Very nice additons brandon. What a disappointment of wsi with the 1500 jib now we are going to see more and more plastic in the models. SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING. http://s1185.photobucket.com/home/vipyfz2008/indexhttp://www.youtube.com/user/vipyfz?feature=mheeluis.
