That's so cool. Almost looks like how Norscot would make it if they were still making models for Liebherr.

Very interesting! Your brasswork is impressive, and I wish I could do as well.
I think it's a foregone conclusion for better or worse that there will be a scale model of the 776 at bauma. NZG's been doing the dozers in recent years, and a good job of them. Personally; I'd like to see Conrad do this model as it would be a bit less fragile.

The dozer looks great in white and grey.
I certainly hope that WSI has nothing to do with a scale model of it considering their poor execution of the R970SME.

I have to concur with Robert Heuston on this! The 870 is a brilliant model it just needed to be mass ex to be better! The 970SME is also an amazing model! I remember someone moaning about the fact that the pins on the R970 dipper and boom were flush on the model instead of recessed like on the real machine! Other than that little item its fantastic!

To make that statement, I can only surmise that you've never seen the TMC/Replicars Hitachi ZX470LCH in person? Also; I never made any reference to the the WSI ZX870 and have no issue with it? Other than that little item its fantastic! If that's a minor thing for you, that's cool. I remember that comment as well and when I looked on Liebherr's website it was the truth, so it becomes a matter of priority for each collector.

Not to argue but what can you say is wrong with the 870, 470, 250, 970sme that they are of a quality level where you would say "I've had better?"
I have the 870 and 470 and though fragile they are fantastic models! They have more detail then most other excavator models out there. What is this magic uber detailed mode you speak of?

Thanks for the info Paul R.. Surprised to hear that WSI is producing the 776.. For sure thought that NZG or CONRAD would get the bid.. Well pleased that WSI got the bid ... Will go great with the Conrad 754 and NZG 764... If WSI does the 776 like there excavators, we are in for a treat !!!
