Wow, the day before the Detroit Motor Show, Porsche have let it slip... It's a homage to the Porsche 917 that won LeMans back in 1971. It even displays the same winning number #22... Expect this to race at the 2011 Nurbergring 24 A very interesting car indeed!

The car is based off the Porsche 918 Spider hybrid concept that was shown to the public in 2010.

The Citroen GT is awesome and was actually designed for the PS game Gran Turismo. Pretty cool design experiment. Check out these videosl! The second video sounds amazing! And so it should for a 790hp V8!

Just found this in the weekend newspaper. I translated it a bit so you guys can understand.

The 1.6 milj crash

Reducing a 1.6 million euro sportscar to scrap. It happened to a German investment banker.
Steffen Korbach (28) was on his way to Milan for the presentation of a new model of Italian sports car Pagani, when he says he lost control of the wheel 'by aquaplaning'. The 700 hp Pagani Zonda Roadster F slammed into the guardrail. Korbach and his girlfriend had only minor injuries.

From the Pagani Zonda F only 25 copies are made. It would be the third most expensive sports car ever, after Königsegg CCXR (1, 8 million euros) and Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (1.9 million). One consolation for the banker: in his garage he still has two Bugatti's, two Lamborghini's and a Gemballa Mirage. Korbach has already ordered the latest model Pagani. That will cost him 900,000 euros, without taxes.

The original link with a picure of the car.

Saw that ZondaF crash posted over on supercars.net Such a shame but a testament to how well the car is built.

Check out this American beast, the Twin small-block V8 - Priapism Yep, that's it's name, not for the kiddies.

Be sure to watch the video, fantastic shots and a great interview with the builder.

Speaking of the Lamborghini Estoque concept. Check this out...

Report: Lamborghini CEO Winkelmann confirms new "everyday" model line

The incorporation of Lamborghini into the Volkswagen Group has certainly done a lot for their drivability, but we wouldn't exactly call a Gallardo or Aventador an "everyday supercar." But according to reports quoting the company's affable chief executive, Stephen Winkelmann, Sant'Agata Bolognese is set to add a new range of models to deliver exactly that.

The Lamborghini CEO was speaking at a Reuters conference, where he declared that a third model line was under development – one that "has to be an everyday car." Although he would not confirm in which segment the new car would compete, he did indicate that it would benefit from synergies within the VW Group.

The declaration is being widely reported as confirmation of a production version of the Estoque concept, a sensational four-door show car that Lamborghini unveiled way back at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Estoque's production is tipped to share underpinnings with the next-generation Porsche Panamera, Audi A9 and a new Bentley four-door coupe.

Thought I would add one more to this thread. Below is a picture of a 2004 VW R32 that was built and is maintained by the shop I work in. This car is pretty much one of a kind.

I wasn't sure when I first saw the press pictures but more recent pictures have changed my mind. Outstanding. Oh and 740hp stock isn't bad either!

Well, the 2013 Viper will be first shown to the public in a matter of hours, on the 4th but here is what has been considered by many who have already seen the car, pretty close to what to expect.

Another interesting thing to note is that they have dropped the 'Dodge' brand from the cars title, it is now simply known as the SRT Viper.
