thanks guys! haha, you can sit in it all day with no complaints, doubt the op will ever complain about it! as i was up there, me and ben took a trip up to green bay to check out the packers stadium remodel. was pretty cool, i dont see many cranes around here with luffers on so it was cool to see all of these with luffers on. kinda weird though, being in wisconsin, theres not many manis on the job sites there, mostly liebherrs, terex, or americans. so here are a few pics i got from there, cant really tell what models the liebherrs are, but i think they were 1280s or 1200s anyone care to explain this setup, on the 14000? a big pumper the tallest rig on the site!

Do they have the hook block and headache ball combination on the 14000 so that they have extra weight to bring the empty hook down ?

yes dude they do it because the ball by itself is not heavy enough to keep the winch wrapped right for the amount of boom that is in it. that has actually happened to me before one time. the wind was blowing and the cable has enough surface area that it actually started to try to stack wraps up the wrong way. kind of freaky when it happens. great pics by the way. ian

crews have finally started working on the indiana side of the new pedestrian bridge. it was an old railroad bridge but has been out of service for decades, both approach ramps that got up to the bridge were tore down when they stopped using it. but over the past 2-3 years, they have constructed a new spiraling ramp up to it on the kentucky side, and its done, has been for almost a year. but since then, they have been working on the deck on the bridge, tearing out old RR ties and pouring or placing deck panels. they are pretty much done with that, so now they have started on the indiana approach ramp. isnt any big machines, but since no other projects are going on, its better than nothing. but they will be breaking ground for the 2 new bridges project at the end of the month! cant wait!! but here are some photos from the site, its only 5 minutes from my house so i can easily check on it anytime. enjoy one of the columns that will support the ramp start of another column heres the site, you can see the bridge in the background, barely

hey guys, heres an update on the pedestrian bridge. went by and saw a yellow crawler last night at the site, so went back this morning to get some photos, it will be lifting tub girders (i think, unless they use something different rather than what they used on the other side of the bridge few years ago), also thinking since this is only a 160 ton rig, another might get setup as well for tandem lifting. also thinking a bigger truck crane (ltm1300) will come to lift the beams that are on the other side of the floodwall closest to the bridge as the space is very tight and cant get a decent crawler in there. i will try my hardest to catch the lifts and hopefully get a timelapse. just depends on when they lift them, im sure one or 2 of the beams will be lifted at night as they will have to cross a road, so im thinking those will be at night and the rest during the daytime. well anyways, heres a few photos i got. the site, you can see the railroad/pedestrian bridge in the back notice this stabilizer doesnt have a mat under it the others do

Thanks! saw a lowboy with these parts going down the rd early this morning and kinda had a feeling where it might go, think it might be a 111, 222, or 10000 also, the tub girders started arriving today, didnt see any light towers around the site so i doubt the lifts will be done at night would have made for a great timelapse! now i might miss the lifts due to work, they were bolting up the plates to the beams while i was there, should be really soon

well, the unknown red crane turned out to be a 10000, will get better pics soon, its weird cause they raised the crane up without reeving any line for hooks also a couple more tub girders arrived today, and they attached the safety cables on top of the ones that were here yesterday, should be going in very soon! the Manbelco 10k looks weird with taillights!

I am really starting to like those LTM's 1250-6.1 and that really like your pictures Brandon! I hope they will produce a model of those ltm 1250's because I want one.
