Ok Brandon, enough back patting for you at the moment. You have well proved you metal in still photos, stop motion extravaganzas and even some pretty nice video footage.
I'm sure some more will agree we need for you to step out of the minor leagues and BIG TIME.
You just need to full fill a simple three part quest. Choice of liveries are up to you.
All you need to do is film and photograph simple projects, which you will enjoy, I'm sure.
We need the following done: Record the following three cranes being assembled and documented your own style.(That would in full scale of 1'=12")
1. LG1750
2. LR1750
3. LTM1750
BONUS LTM11200

Have fun mate, it should keep you out of trouble for a couple of days....

Like like the ringer base on this one. The TWH version is nice, but i feel like this one would be a better fit. Awesome pictures Brandon!

thanks!

stopped by the bridge yesterday to see what was going on, they had moved the ringer to shore and were setting up the rigging for the first lift. took some pics but wont post them to save space, nothing special. but i got a heads up today by the 14000 op they were making the lift around 11:30. so i stopped by for a few, was at work Shhh

its lifting an aluminum (trench box) type thing that will be set in the water and then filled with rock to form a working platform

pretty interesting, they had the 248 tied to the box to help keep it from being pushed by the current

been a while since i last updated this topic

not much different has changed on the bridge, still ALOT of piles being driven. but they recently set the "tub" sealed formwork for the piers that are in the water. they weigh over 240,000# they are 61ft long by 22ft wide

bridge project is moving along great, they will start flying beams for the 60+ overpass/flyover ramps very soon, so i hope to catch a few more and a night timelapse would be nice! well see. got a timelapse of them setting 2 beams, prestress brought in the beams and sterett set them, no idea on the weight or length, anyways, enjoy

taken yesterday with my phone, no camera in the truck d'oh!

Nice pictures! Really love the liebherr cranes!

Where is live close to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada a crane company is getting a new ltm 1220-5.2 in a week or two. So I am hoping that I can go and see it.

Question what is with the American flag on beam?

Mammoet- Size does Matter.

Nice set of pics, I was out all night setting beams 14 of them. 125 ft long 100000 + lbs with Liebherr 1220 and Grove 5240
It is better watching them set the beams when you are getting paid.

Wow nice. Think these were around 118ft long, don't know the weight.
Lucky! But I don't mind watching them for free! Always interesting

these beams were 118ft by 54 inches tall and weighed 67 tons (134,000lbs) and were the first 5 of 870 on the whole downtown bridge project to be set!

heres the video i got, got lots of pics to i will post later, they were suppose to start at 9pm, from the email and facebook status posted said, but they started at 7:30 or 8pm, probably because of the frigid temps, was around 3 degrees i think, minus the windchill. but anyways, i missed a few beams going in. oh well, plenty more beams to go in over the next 2 years, over 60 overpass bridges on the job!

ltm1300 and ltm1250 tandem lifting overpass beams
