Hennessey Venom GT

Based on a Lotus chassis and using a heavily modified Lotus body and Chevrolet Z06 engine, this thing is really going to move at only 2,400 lbs (1071kg's) with anywhere from 725hp upto 1200hp!!

I know I know, its a Jap tin box to many, but this is one of my favourite cars,I think the colours and shear aggressive lines just sell it for me,plus its made in a super limited run to the legendary Tommi Makinen,

I also have one in 1/18 by autoArt which I have seen on ebay recently for over £350

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Those 458 italia's are by far the best looking supercar ever! Absolutely beautiful! I saw one in a dealership not long ago and pretty much fell in love with it! haha

Although close second has to be the Maclaren Mercesdes SLR!!!

steering wheel is on the wrong side Teeth d'oh!

I was watching re-runs of Top Gear on TV and the episode when the ran the old supercars of the early 90's against todays ones, the F40 and the Jag XJ220,the F40 is probably my favourite Ferrari and I don't like those red carsTeeth

Has anyone heard any word on a Murcielago replacement? or a new Zonda?

you could chase down that TVR Speed 12??? Teeth Teeth its only a 7litre 800hp monster

wanna buy my 98 corolla hatch? lol its only got 146K on it lol

Evo VI Makinen!!!!
Maybe the M3 is a safer bet as at least over here any of those Jap cars get the nuts driven out of them, trouble with turbo's and diffs giving up the ghost, then I can't see M3 owners driving the same, how bout an m5??

just make sure you get something that you can get your 6.6 on or in Teeth Teeth

For some time now I've been wanting to upgrade my everyday car to a HSV, as the slogan goes "I just want one!" I'm now in a situation where I can. Whilst I was on vacation in Perth two weeks ago, I decided to go and test drive the new E2 GTS. I won't bore you with the details but I was lucky enough to have a very cool salesman who encouraged me to hit redline on the slip lane and reach speeds in excess of 160km/h before joining the freeway. As it was quite a wet day he also encouraged to take corners sideways and make aggressive directional changes to test out the T/C and ESC, as well as using the launch control feature. It's no supercar but needless to say it's a very fun and practical car to drive and it sure did put a smile on my face!

For those who are not familiar with the E-series 2 HSV GTS and those who need reminding, here are the basic specs:

Engine: 6.2-litre Gen III V8
Power: 325kW at 6000 revs
Torque: 550Nm at 4600 revs
Transmission: Six speed manaul (six-speed sequential automatic)
Economy: 14.8 litres/100km (13.9 litres/100km auto)

Prices start at $80,990 and by the time I had priced one up with the optional extras (sunroof, 6-piston brakes and wheels to fit over the huge rotors plus the "extra" spare wheel) it was sitting around $96,000 on the road.

Only problem now is the colour! I'm torn between Wildfire and Nitrate.

Hi Chris, great choice! I played around on the HSV website a couple of months back and these were my favorite color / wheel combinations. I also edited the images and lowered them a little, gives them a little bit of extra agression Smile Let us know how you go with the purchase and with what color your settle on. Personally I would go for the 'Wildfire' orange!
