Thanks guys!
No, I actually printed off a bunch of different sized decals on clear and white decal paper back when I was working on the lg. I really like how they came out, didn't go out and buy a fancy shmancy high dollar printer either. Think I paid 120 for the printer and only like 10 bucks for the decal paper and decal solvent. Only problem is, the clear doesn't turn out great on colored models like redConfused So I've been getting some decals from chuck, the ones on the 4115 are ones he made.

got the rest of my package day today, the ltm 1300! now im waiting on the boom cylinder etch piece and brass sheaves for it, then let the repainting madness begin againConfused this is a nice model, not as big as i imagined, especially the jib sections, the 1300 looks so small next to the 11200 haha.

Hi Brandon, must be an early version, mine has metal pendants but thats not to say having metal pendants is better, mine don't equilize under load plus all the paint was chipped, but that won't be a problem with the repaint your doing,
I see you have the ycc detail kit,it helps the model out heaps as detail goes, you just need the ycc luffer,it's a must have on this model, good luck with conrad fixing the pendant problem,Steve.

Nice addition Brandon. But IMO is a must to repaint this model, yellow is so plain.

Cheers.

Nice model dude. Is your cylinder stiff because in my 1200 is so stiff that iam afraid that it would come off. Conrad just need to put more details on their models.

Wait to see how stiff are the AC 500 cylinders.Teeth On one of mines I broke the metal cylinder.

Try using a hair blow drier to soften them.

Nice addition Brandon!! you have had this on your hit list for a while now, glad to see you snapped one up,I think mine has the plastic pendant lines too,I know it pales in comparrisson to models of today but its still alot of crane for the buck/yoyo

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

thanks guys
yeah they are very stiff, i raised them one time and then changed them out for the metal ones, i too was afraid i might break something or strip the outrigger threads, they are definately stiff enough to hold the crane with full jib, and fully extended, with a load haha, i tried to lower them back down and it was like they were locked, i recommend the ycc cylinders for any model, wish they made some for all mobiles, i have a few cranes that could use them badly

graham- yes i have had this on the list forever, just always passed on it for something better d'oh! or couldnt find one, and i got this one for 396$ maybe its so cheap because its the older version

finally picked up the luffing jib for my 8800, thanks to paul craneApplause thanks so much for it! also got 1 extension for it but still in need of 3 more to make the jib longer, that short jib just doesnt do anything for me, there isnt anymore extensions available that i can find, so ive emailed conrad, waiting for a reply back.. i honestly dont know why conrad didnt include the jib wit hthe model to begin with, 300 bucks extra for only 2 20ft sections, jib heel and tip, and extra hook, is not worth that much but i had to get this, i have to have all kits for my models, i feel better knowing i have all kits/parts for the model, up next for it, is 3 more extensions, brass sheaves, walkways and maybe pendantsThink . overall im happy with it, but not worth the 300 bucks.
i spent 2 hrs de rigging the crane from its origional setup to adding the extension and jib, and reeving the block. the block took the most time though

555 for comparison

Great additions, B! I have wanted to add the luffer and repaint the 1300 in Ainscough for awhile but just haven't got the time to do it.

Looking at your dio, where are you sleeping these days?!
