thanks!
not sure, i dont know if i will repaint it or not, the yellow looks pretty good i think, Think

got a few small items today in the mail, saw the deals on the dhs homepage monday, and saw the manitowoc 555 sections and remembered i needed a replacement 20 ft section, so i asked if they were in stock, and they were, so i ordered a new 20ft section which also comes with the 10ft section, an extra 40 footer to give her some more height, even though she cant really handle itConfused the pendant strap set, and the warning decals for the cc8800 hook block. i ordered them tuesday and they got here today! very fast, and i didnt use quick delivery! thanks dhs, great serviceApplause

and a comparison

heres the decals, i emailed tim the other day about the set and the jib set, no word yet, but the sheaves for the entire crane are next on my list to get

got a couple new models in yesterday! the first one, ive always wanted one, but never ordered it, and after seeing the new version in person, i just had to have this version instead of the old one!

the new terex AC100/4L from conrad

one for zachWinkAni

next to the ac200

jib is able to be offset at 2 angles, besides straight

i painted the red, yellow, and green lights on it, it comes unpainted, after seeing the real one, not having those lights painted was driving me nuts

my terex crane collection

the second package, i really wasnt going to order one, being 250 bucks, couldnt come to terms spending that much on an excavator model, but after seeing everyone getting one and all these great pics of it and seeing how nice it is, i finally gave in and bought itd'oh! it is the CCM Cat 385CL, this model is amazing! i dont own any ccm models, well i had the old manitowoc 555 a while back but got rid of it, but they hit this one out of the park! worth every penny! even though its 1/48, you cant really tell a difference, it is a must have if you like excavator models! Drool Drool

the bucket is huge!

ill have you know that as i was QUICKLY paging down past the dirt thingy you posted i did notice all the cranes in the background, so at least the second half of your post kept me slightly interested WinkAni

im liking that AC 100, i like the look of the updated cab and headlights, looks much better.... and i like the painted on lights too, nice little touch. Nice to see all that boom layed out too, im surprised its able to hold that low of an angle with that much stick out.

very good pictures, now all you need is the AC 1000/9 to complete the Terex collection

Great addition Brandon. That drake trailer is on my list for a while. Maybe it's time to get one. One question. Does the cab doors open?

Cheers.

Brandon,

Have you heard back from Tim C lately? I've sent numerous e-mails in regards to ordering replacement pulleys for the last 4 months with no replies.

From what I got told last night, that trailer at full spread without the dolly is good for 56t add the dolly and it brings it up to 75t. With that 385 your around 10t over. But it's a drake it'll take it.
