Looks like a good week all around, I had the Wiesbauer and McNallys 1050s arrive and your Michielsens which I must say is growing on me more and more. I had a warning light off also but considering the trip it took to get here I certainly cannot complain and a very small dab of 5 minute Araldite fixed it as new..I try to stay away from the super glues as they can have a residual vapour which can craze the paint if not careful.
Good you have you priorities right there Woc...any valid reason to get to a good model sure beats yard work any day..I have chunks out of me from doing that yesterday, trimming Macadamia nut trees ...the leaves have serrated edges that cut you in a heartbeat and getting in to make cuts with the chainsaw is seriously not comfortable. Still my brand new Huskvarna made short work of it....then I spent all afternoon picking up the pieces.
Impressed by the improvement in your photos also....the difference in your last posts and photos is fantastic, great improvement and great shots.

yeah, she was actually begging me to let her cut the grass! figure i might as well oblige her and let her do it while she is still willing!
normally i would use epoxy or something but it was such a small piece in an area that wouldnt have really affected it much, that and i didnt feel like sitting there holding the piece for 15 minutes for the epoxy to somewhat set up.
thanks for the compliments and comments guys, next up is the HN 112 and ballast truck, was supposed to get the Wagenborg but just couldnt swing it at this time, hopefully i can get it from the US in the future
I figure that after how the outside pictures turned out i would like to take all the models outside from now on and photograph them (cause i have ever taken outside pictures before cause i was to lazy to haul the models outside) but like everyone says, you just cant beat the natural light! it does wonders

Yeah, it was good seeing you too, Dad All those models you are cutting back on feel free to order anyways and ship to me, technically you would still be cutting back when you think about it. If i was you though, i wouldnt hesitate to get this model as we all know you and J Galvez are in a competition at this point and im sure he is getting it. Plus the livery is top notch

We all like the big and different or spectacular, but those little Terex 30 to 40s are the backbone of the Chicago area rental market. They come close to scaling in Illinois and the work rules force one into the 70 to 90 ton class as your next step up. There are no 60s such as we have in DC

i personally like to have a ballast truck if the option is there with the matching crane, but i think had i realized it was a Conrad model i would have passed, oh well

Nice ballast truck dewoc i have seen this in some german web shops its considerbly dearer than any other conrad ballast trucks or was that the wsi one i was looking at?

Those little Terex taxi cranes are popular around Chicago, IL. For those farther away Royal Crane is owned by the brother of the woman that owns La Grange crane.
