Went up to Glasgow last week to de-rig our LG1550, when I got there the crane was putting the blades up on turbine. Was a cold day but blue skys made for good pictures.

Ainscough's LTM1750 is in the yard and undergoing training for the operators, it is i must admit a amazing looking bit of kit. I've been told to expect a visit from young Jack tomorrow, don't know if this is true, maybe you can tell all Jack.

Anyway, a picture of the big girl.

I went to have a nosy around this morning but was in a rush and wasn't sure if I could get close enough to see... unfortunately I didn't.

Wasn't me, I came up around 12, was tempted to ask at the security gate. I had also planned to track down another big crane on my way back to work but ran out of time :(

Few pictures of Ainscough's brand new LTM1750 going together in the yard. It is a truly awesome addition to the fleet! I'm hugely impressed with it, a well thought out piece of machinery and can't wait to get out working with it.

Been spending my days hidden away on a wind farm so not really getting around to take pictures, had a week with the new LTM1750 and then pretty well much spend my days with the LG1550. Its a steady job and with my new addition to the family my time is taken up building turbines and looking after kids!

LG

seems like ages since i posted but hope these make up for it a little.
