Very nice mining collection! I love that O&K 340, I can't buy one because of the 120 step program I am on Thanks for the post, beautiful pieces. Mark

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Graham. All my mining gear is in boxes in the attic at the moment I don't have the Mt. Arthur 994, Demag 485S or the L1850 (though I do have the L2350). Doubt I'll get the 485S but the Mt. Arthur doesn't look at all bad. The L1850 has always been on my list but just never got it. Always something else comes along. Paul R

@ Mark, lol you're on the 120 step program now lol, the RH340 would look nice beside that Hulett unloader Paul, that was a bit of memory lane for me too,as basic as some are,the PC3000,and H485 they are still very imposing, and not as bad as had been thinking, sorry I didn't get good pics of the two Mt Arthurs,as these are still boxed, maybe some other time I'll dig 'em out,I just love that L1850,the detail is emense, its an expensive piece though, and I now have a hankering for the yellow one
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Have to agree! That is what has had me hankering after it. Especially the one with the larger coal bucket Paul R

Cheers guys!
I was a bit nervous of the hitachis but they are superb models, can't complain at all, even fit that nooteboom perfectly width wise,
they are very nice models and great to have a bit of colour added to a 90% yellow collection
