thanks guys!

it was such a nice day out today, temperature around 78 Cool i decided to take advantage of it and start painting the 1280. i got it about halfway painted today, and its suppose to be another perfect day tomarrow so when i get off, ill try and finish her up. i had second thoughts about repainting it in amquip colors, i was looking all over at different liverys but since i had already bought the black and white paint a few months ago and didnt find anything i really liked, she will be black and white again (THE RIGHT WAY!) d'oh!

primered up

color added, not a flat black this time, shes going to be shiny Cool

thanks!

well i got home from work and wasnt expecting any packages until tomarrow, but one awaited me today! so instead of finishing up the rest of the lr1280 repaint, i put it off for a few days, as another package will be here tomarrow and i need to play with my new toysTeeth

so i got the new AC200 along with the ycc cylinder, the model is great except that the counterweight design flaw from the past has not been rectified. so the (2) center plates and cheek weights, are still all one piece, and you cannot swing the model around as if it is loading them up to the structure, other than that issue, its a very nice model, and VERY heavy!! definately a nice additionWinkAni

for zachWinkAni

How many cranes do you have

Nothing runs like a deere with a cat on its back but the link belt ate both of them

got the other half of my package today, the liebherr ltr1100. a great model, wanted this model for a while, but always passed it up. added the ycc cylinder to it already, replaced the boom head sheaves with some spare individual sheaves i had, and cut the sheaves that are in the main block, in half, as they are a one piece casting, so now they are 2 individual sheaves and roll very nice. another nice additionWinkAni

you can see the bigger sheaves i added

as low as it goes

all my mobile telescopic rigs, besides the maxim 550 and 11200

full collection so far!

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Very nice collection what do you think of the liebherr compared to the sennebogen?

thanks Graham!
hunter- haha, no comparison, the 110 is by far the better choice, the sennebogen has more detail but the 1100 can break down for transport, has a metal boom, just a better built model, the sennebogen has brass sheaves but they are one piece castings so it doesnt roll well and the string is white. but i cant really complain as i got the sennebogen free

Howdy Brandon.

It's been a long time. Just thought I would say hello and comment on your collection. Looks awesome. I wish I had the room for that kind of display. The 1550 and the CC8800 are just so kick a**. Looks really good man.

Take it easy,
Shawn
