Thanks guys! I have to say,I'm being ever so surely tempted by the model train side now, this engine has impressed me to no end,A small layout in the future, say a rail yard with a factory building,a few spurs or sidings, which can incorporate a few heavy lifts, could be on the cards, next is a transformer for the engine to get the full effect Mark I'm gonna be polite and well mannered here and say "after you good sir.." to your comment you're next for the O scale iron Getting pics of the lift will be great, the engine actually weighs quite a bit, maybe too much for two AC500's,it will be interesting to see what is used

No typical feet up or paper reading going on here nervy time in the cab, thats my 399 scale dollar engine they have!! Easing the pressure more and more, the winch winds and eventually 180tonnes (2.8kgs) rises free of the timbers AC500 is equall to the task as the engine is now free front and rear Now with both cranes taking the weight, the rig can pull out slowly The money shot

Ready to begin setting her down In to the boom lift again fro a quick aerial shot,AC500 slews over to line up with rails LTM11200 booming down and slewing slightly to compensate AC500 slewing and to line up with rails,(kudos to YCC on the rams, they needed to be fairly tight and showed no obvious signs of chipping where spanner contacted) Rear truck is so close, mustn't be much in it now and she touches down and front truck follows

Great stuff graham, a lot of time and effort gone into setting this up! So are Felbermayr after purchasing Brachts 11200? You'll have to get her into the paint shop for a shot of blue and grey!
Noel.
