Window sill time again Teeth Teeth

well here she is,and what a beaut! very very crisp and clean livery and model, one thing I noticed about this AC500 is the amount of oscillation in the axles, everyone likes a bit of oscillation nowadays Teeth

Super super job on this model!!!

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Wow that looks great, to be honest I think this looks much nicer than the Hallamore version which just seems too plain to me.

That arrived very quickly graham, you must be the first person in Europe to get it ya lucky bugger! Teeth You'll have to post a new ac500 family portrait soon, how many is that you have now? Oh and i'm not sure you'll think this one is the nicest when your next one finally arrives! Wink

Well I have to say that I am certainly glad I ordered one now. Looks great!

Noel's question now has me thinking - how many and what liveries have been done in the AC500-1 and AC500-2? Ones I'm aware of:

AC500-1

Mammoet
Franz Bracht
Schmidbauer??

AC500-2

Felbermayr
McNallys
Wiesbauer
Sarens
ALL
Hallamore
Prangl

Terex ac500-1ssl (not sure if the Demag name was dropped in the -1ssl though)
Terex ac500-2ssl

Then there are version I have seen, maybe not authentic conrad releases,

B&W
that Wittrock one,
and I have seen a Colonia one in an Asian shop too, looked sweet but is almost as much as the real deal

B&W one I think was a custom, but could be wrong. Wittrock may have been a Conrad release as I do remember seeing it now you mention it but have not seen the Colonia one.

Nice "adiction" Graham. Just ordered mine yesterday. What I don't still understand, is why conrad keeps using those odd screws as outriggers.

Jose.

The proudly Mexican cookie monster!

It's a diecast thing.You couldn't understand!

Hi Gregor,

Thanks for the list, must have taken a while to find all the versions,I never knew of the -1 SL Schmidbauer,

Its a great model I think and still has a few years left and many more liveries too,do you know when it first came out,I think its over 10 years old now, makes you wonder that it can still sell 10 or more years on Smile

Great stuff Gregor, its nice to know the full list and especially the quantities of each that were made. I wish all model manufacturers would announce clearly the total quantity of each model they release, just for the collectors information.

The one ac500 I still really want to see made is Wagenborg Nedlift. We need a big wagenborg crane to accompany all the trucks that have been released in the past few years. Pray Pray
